Fund Raising

Material Depot raises USD 10 Mn in Series A funding

Material Depot has raised $10 Million in Series A funding, co-led by Accel and Stellaris Venture Partners. The other investors who were part of this round includes Whiteboard Capital, DeVC, Soma Capital and several angel investors.

The $14B home interiors market is large yet highly fragmented, with meaningful opportunities for modernization. Material Depot, a design-first home interiors solution, is addressing this by building an omni-channel platform that seamlessly combines digital discovery with reliable offline execution.

The fresh capital will be deployed to strengthen technology across the supply chain and in-store experience, expand product offerings and scale its offline presence across cities.

As homeowners take a more active role in shaping their living spaces, we see strong value in this end-to-end model and look forward to partnering with the team as they scale towards building a category-defining company.

Founded in 2022 by Manish Reddy and Sarthak A., the platform plans to strengthen its tech infrastructure across supply chain, inventory planning and in-store assisted selling, while expanding its curated product range and offline presence.

What started as an effort to make interior materials easier to discover and trust has grown into a larger conversation around access, clarity, and experience in home building.
