Modulus Housing Secures INR 70 Crore Series A funding to expand Modular Construction for Low-Rise Buildings
Proptech and construction-tech startup Modulus Housing has raised ₹70 crore (about $7.83 million) in its Series A funding round.
The round was led by Kalaari Capital, Hero, and Samarthya, with additional investments from SVAS, Sigma, Zetwerk founder Srinath, Sanjiv Rangrass, and other prominent backers.
Established in 2018 by Shree Ram Ravichandran and Gobinath P, Modulus Housing specializes in factory-made modular construction. Their engineering depth from IIT Madras and strong on-ground execution experience made their conviction clear. The company uses a cloud-based network of partner factories combined with its proprietary technology suite to design and deliver modular structures for low-rise infrastructure. This approach ensures faster build times, consistent quality, and simplifies on-site construction challenges.
Kalaari Capital is known for investing in early to growth-stage startups across SaaS, consumer tech, fintech, and industrial sectors.
Kalaari Capital said that “It is proud to lead Modulus Housing’s Rs 70 crore ($7.83M) Series A round, as they scale a new category of industrialized micro-construction – helping build the next generation of distributed infrastructure for Bharat and beyond.”
