Elixiir Foods raises USD 9 Mn in seed round led by 3one4 Capital
Elixiir Foods, an omnichannel grocery platform targeting premium, health-focused foods, raised $9 million in seed funding led by 3one4 Capital, with participation from Incubate Fund Asia.
The capital raised will be deployed toward launching Elixiir’s initial presence in NCR, building out tech-enabled sourcing and private label infrastructure, and establishing the wholesale backbone for efficient scaling.
As India’s GDP per capita exceeds $2,500, over 150 million urban households are upgrading from staples to fresh, gourmet options, unlocking a $100+ billion fragmented market.
The Delhi-NCR startup, founded by Arvind Mediratta (ex-MD & CEO, Metro Cash & Carry India; prior Walmart, P&G) and Ambuj Narayan (ex-CEO, Taneira at Titan; ex-Walmart, Metro), offers affordable premium products via farm-led sourcing, private labels, in-store bakery/café, and omnichannel distribution spanning fresh produce, dairy, meat, staples, snacks, and ready-to-eat items.
Funds will launch initial operations in Delhi-NCR (10-12 outlets planned), build tech-enabled supply chains, private labels, wholesale infrastructure, and enable city-level scaling. 3one4 Capital partnered early to validate the “affordable premium” thesis, citing the founders’ 50+ years scaling India’s food/retail giants and category creation potential against rivals like BigBasket, DMart Ready, and Nature’s Basket.
“India is no longer looking only for basics. It wants healthier food choices along with authentic gourmet cuisines: not just from different regions of India, but from around the world. Elixiir Foods is being built as a tech-native destination, positioned as the most trusted platform for fresh, healthy, and gourmet food products. We also recognize that Indian customers across all SECs are highly value-conscious, making pricing the X-factor right at the wholesale and distribution level as part of our customer proposition,” said Arvind Mediratta, Founder and CEO of Elixiir Foods.
From incubation to this seed round, our partnership with Elixiir has been grounded in first-principles thinking and disciplined execution. We are excited to partner with Arvind and Ambuj as they build with the clarity and operating depth required to serve India’s evolving food preferences over the long term.
